I loved Damon's sour grapes, literally, but also Tom Hanks as robo-lawyer.
And really, considering how completely out of ideas Hollywood is, it wouldn't surprise me if some of these ideas actually end up becoming movies.
It's not like there isn't any good writer in Hollywood who'd love to work for the telecast? I was thinking though - oscars is like a black tie grad ceremony. How can something stuffy like that be fun and entertaining while maintain its perceived classy status quo? The show won't do that, but may be the presenters and winners could make it fun? Or maybe they need a new producer!
