4 Response to Oscars 2015 Winners Predix: Is it a bird? Is it a boy?
The results are in! It felt like it was a close call during the show and indeed it was! You ended up with 12 correct predictions (19 including alts) and I ended up with 12 correct (but 20 including alts!)!
We did really well overall too, you only missed 2 categories (Cinematography and Score) and I only missed one (Sound Mixing).
I think I did pretty horribly, actually, not counting the alternates. So many missed categories! My only excuse was that the predix was done last minute, and I didn't even look anything up! :p the precursors did throw me off with Big Hero 6. And some of the wins were really puzzling. Like, wth, screenplay for imitation game and nothing?
I think it's a good thing we didn't do better. If we had, that would've meant the outcome was even more predictable and that's no fun. There weren't any massive jaw-dropping upsets or anything, but at least everything wasn't like the set-in-stone acting categories, which were pretty much "collect your Oscar" night for those four.
Yeah, but, we did worse that before! I blame it on my last-minuteness. Also, I need to have bragging rights for these things! Think of the years we've spent doing this!
