Title: I'm Here (Watch it free on line here)
Director: Spike Jonze
Language: English
Year: 2010
Critical Reception: Generally well accepted, though not many reviews exist for this short film
Psych Index: Intimate
In Brief: A half hour short, cute film about a lonely robot ready to give, in whatever capacity, to ... love? I can't encourage the sort of twisted sacrifice shown in the film, as it involves the kind of burden that could break even the strongest relationship. However, it does illustrate effectively the consuming power of desperation and uncompromising desire to connect with anyone who'd witness our existence, even if it means to give up parts of us in return.
